Judy Reinke
Senior Commercial Officer,

Judy Reinke assumed the position of Senior Commercial Officer in the Philippines in August 2005. In this position, she is responsible for managing the operations of the U.S. Commercial Service office at the U.S. Embassy in Manila, providing export promotion support to American firms attempting to enter the Philippine market and counseling U.S. companies on the business climate and commercial opportunities in this country.

Prior to this position, Ms. Reinke served as Senior Commercial Officer in Bangkok, Thailand from November 2002-June 2005. There she provided active advocacy support to U.S. firms seeking business opportunities in the Thai market and hosted numerous U.S. business visitors and trade missions.

As Deputy Senior Commercial Officer in Jakarta, Indonesia from 1999-2002, Ms. Reinke was responsible for overseeing the operations of the U.S. Commercial Center, a full-service facility offering American businesses short-term rental offices, meeting facilities, and other professional services. She handled the daily management of CS Jakarta, including supervision of budget and fiscal activities, personnel, and security matters.

Ms. Reinke's previous experience was as Commercial Attache in Bonn, Germany (1993-1998), and Commercial Officer with responsibility for export control matters in Bern, Switzerland (1990-1992). She also served in Washington, D.C., at the U.S. Department of Commerce in the Bureau of Export Administration (1986-2000) and in the Import Administration (1983-1986).

Ms. Reinke holds a Masters in Public Administration from the Woodrow Wilson School of Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College. She is married to Mr. Edwin Reinke and has a daughter, Katherine.
