Randy Pflughaupt is responsible for Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., Inc’s (TMS) various sales administration functions serving both the Toyota and Lexus sales divisions. In his role, Pflughaupt oversees retail market development, distribution operations, corporate fleet, Toyota Certified Used Vehicles, Toyota Rent A Car and Toyota Logistics Services. He is also responsible for international operations, including all Toyota operations in Mexico and Puerto Rico. Since joining Toyota in 1982, Pflughaupt has held numerous positions with TMS, including general sales manager for the Central Atlantic Toyota Region, assistant general manager of Toyota’s Los Angeles Region, and general manager of the San Francisco Region. Upon returning to TMS headquarters in Torrance, Calif., he served as corporate manager for distribution operations, national sales and production manager, new era process team leader, distribution operations manager, sales administration manager and vice president of distribution operations. Most recently, Pflughaupt served as group vice president of Toyota marketing. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oregon State University.
